In 2006, the words, “Peter, build me a generation that honors me…” came to Peter Dusabe during an overnight prayer service. Two years later, while on a flight from Europe to Uganda, Peter felt the conviction in his heart that God was calling upon a generation in Africa that would take the gospel of Jesus Christ back to Europe.

It was in 2010 that Peter recognized that God was calling him and setting him apart to be at the forefront of preaching the gospel in his generation. Eventually, in 2012 at the age of 21, a team of 4 young people led by Peter Dusabe set out on a journey to start Pacesetters’ Initiative for Africa, with the commitment of reaching youth in schools and universities across Uganda with the life-transforming message of the good news of Christ, and to station Ambassadors across the world to represent the work of the Pacesetters ministry in their communities.

Founded in 2012, Pacesetters’ Initiative for Africa is a youth outreach and evangelistic ministry whose vision is ““A generation of mission-minded of youth and children in Africa transforming communities through evangelism and discipleship.”
